This site currently uses only one cookie, and it is strictly necessary — we do not run analytics, advertising, or marketing trackers of any kind.

The cookie we use

• Admin session cookie (ffi_admin_session) — set only when a member of the First Friend Ireland team logs into the admin area. It keeps them signed in and is essential to that feature; it is not set for ordinary visitors browsing the public site.

Because we only use strictly necessary cookies, we do not currently show a cookie consent banner — under Irish and EU rules, consent banners are required for non-essential cookies (like analytics or advertising), not for cookies needed to provide a feature you've asked for.

If this changes

If we later add analytics or any other non-essential cookie or tracker, we will update this policy first and add a proper consent mechanism before any such cookie is set — never as an afterthought.
