Draft — pending formal review
A simple starting procedure. A formal, board-approved complaints policy — including target response times — will replace this once adopted.
If something about First Friend Ireland's conduct, activities or website falls short, we want to know about it.
How to raise a complaint
Email info@firstfriendireland.ie with as much detail as you're able to share: what happened, when, who was involved (if known), and what outcome you're looking for.
What happens next
- We'll acknowledge your complaint as soon as we can.
- A director will review it and may contact you for more information.
- We'll let you know the outcome and any action taken.
We don't yet have a published target response time — the directors will confirm one as part of a formal complaints policy, and this page will be updated to reflect it.
Safeguarding concerns
If your complaint involves the safety of a child or vulnerable adult, please see our Safeguarding page instead — those concerns are handled with particular urgency.
