First Friend Ireland

Get involved

Become a member

Members are part of First Friend Ireland's formal structure — the network the organisation exists to serve, and the people who help shape its direction.

Who can join

Individuals and organisations

Under our constitution, membership is open to any individual aged 16 or over, and to any corporate or unincorporated association that supports First Friend Ireland's objects. All applications are reviewed and approved by the directors.

What membership means

Rights and responsibilities

Members can attend and vote at general meetings, including the AGM, and are part of the community First Friend Ireland is built for. Members' liability is limited to a maximum of €1 in the event the company is wound up.

Membership fees

The directors have not yet set an annual subscription. Any fee introduced in future will be published here in advance, and the constitution allows the directors to waive or reduce it where someone can't afford it.
